Comp analysis
Core idea and suitable matchups.
The comp revolves around Rhaast's "Savior" trait, activating multiple non-unique traits (Stargazer, Bruiser, Future Warrior, Magician, Fatebringer, DRX) to grant the entire team massive Attack Speed and Armor/MR, greatly boosting overall tankiness and output frequency. Stargazer 3 provides HP/AS bonuses within the enhanced hex, while Magician enables double skill procs, Future Warrior gives an AS aura, making backline Xayah and Caitlyn deal explosive damage and the frontline extremely durable. Positioning: tanks upfront, Rhaast on the flank, marksmen and supports safely in the back – balanced offense and defense.

Item DistributionCore carry Rhaast prioritizes Infinity Edge, Bloodthirster, Titan's Resolve to maximize burst and sustain; Xayah equips Guinsoo's Rageblade, Hand of Justice, Last Whisper for high-frequency crits and armor shred. No items needed on other units – leverage Stargazer enhanced hex and trait bonuses.StrengthsRhaast's "Savior" trait gives the team AS and Armor/MR for each non-unique trait activated. This comp activates 6 non-unique traits (Stargazer 3, Bruiser 2, Future Warrior 2, Magician 2, Fatebringer 2, DRX 2), granting the whole team 12% AS and 12 Armor/MR – extremely solid early-mid game. Stargazer 3 provides HP/AS inside the enhanced hex, and since Lulu, Nunu, and Xayah are all Stargazers, positioning is flexible. Xayah and Caitlyn form a stable dual backline damage core; with Magician, their skills chain even stronger.WeaknessesThe comp relies on 2-star 4-cost units Xayah and Nunu; early HP management is needed to stabilize. Lacks wide AoE burst; vulnerable to high-burst assassins or magic comps that pick off the backline. Rhaast is tanky but fears hard CC; if focused down, the entire formation collapses.Early TransitionStart with Recurve Bow or B.F. Sword. Early use 1-cost units like Cho'Gath, Rek'Sai, Talon with Bruiser and Sniper to work. Level to 4 at 2-1, level to 6 at 3-2, try to field small traits like 2 Bruiser 2 Future Warrior 2 Magician. Keep Lulu, Maokai, Milio – find Rhaast and Pantheon as early as possible.Mid-Late GameplayLevel to 7 at 4-1, roll to stabilize, focus on finding Rhaast, Xayah, Nunu. If HP is healthy, level to 8 at 5-1, add Caitlyn to complete the final comp. If Caitlyn is stuck, temporarily replace with Kindred or Aatrox. Economy priority: 2-star Xayah and Nunu; Rhaast 3-star can be pursued opportunistically.AlternativesIf Caitlyn is not found, use Kindred (Challenger + DRX) instead – activates Challenger and DRX but loses Fatebringer. If Xayah is missing, use Twisted Fate (Fatebringer + Stargazer) but adjust Stargazer count (3 Stargazers still work). If Nunu is missing, replace with Jax (Bruiser instead of Bastion – Stargazer unaffected).
