Comp analysis

Core idea and suitable matchups.

The lineup revolves around low-cost 3-star units, offering extremely strong early-mid game pressure. In positioning, the front-line tanks (Illaoi, Cho'Gath, Mordekaiser, Rhaast, Xiaomuling) are grouped together to absorb damage, while the backline carries (Kai'Sa, Lissandra, Teemo) deal damage safely. Dark Star 4 provides a high dual attack bonus, Shepherd 3 summons sheep for enhanced combat power, Vanguard shields boost tankiness, and the Savior provides extra stats for the whole team. The advantage lies in the ease of 3-starring low-cost units, fast win streaks, and suitability for fast-paced games.

Item DistributionMain Carry Kai'Sa: Guinsoo's Rageblade (Recurve Bow + Needlessly Large Rod), Hand of Justice (Tear of the Goddess + Sparring Gloves), Giant Slayer (B.F. Sword + Recurve Bow) – provides attack speed, sustain, and percent damage increase. Main Tank Illaoi: Gargoyle Stoneplate (Chain Vest + Negatron Cloak), Warmog's Armor (Giant's Belt + Giant's Belt), Bramble Vest (Chain Vest + Chain Vest) – greatly increases tankiness and shield benefits. Other champions do not receive items; prioritize economy to three-star.Strengths1. Primarily low-cost (1-3 cost) units, easy to three-star, capable of forming by stage 2-3, maximizing pressure. 2. Dark Star 4 gives all units 45% Attack Damage and Ability Power, leading to a qualitative increase in damage output. 3. Shepherd 3 summons sheep, providing extra frontline and damage. 4. Vanguard 2 provides a shield of 16% max health, ensuring sufficient tankiness with Illaoi and Mordekaiser. 5. Savior Rhaast increases attack speed and double resistances for the entire team, offering significant team-wide buffs.Weaknesses1. In the late game (after stage 5), may lack damage and AOE burst against high-cost lineups (e.g., 4-cost or 5-cost carries). 2. Lacks crowd control, making it vulnerable to assassins or high-burst lineups that dive the backline. 3. Highly item-dependent; Kai'Sa will underperform without core items.Early Game Transition StrategyAt 2-1, level to 4, field Cho'Gath, Lissandra, Teemo, Xiaomuling (or any 2 Dark Star + 2 Shepherd). Prioritize building Kai'Sa's items (Guinsoo's, Hand of Justice) to start a win streak. If items are unfavorable, consider a loss streak to secure items. Do not level before 3-1; use interest gold to roll for 1-cost 3-stars (Cho'Gath, Lissandra, Teemo), while holding 2-cost Mordekaiser and Xiaomuling.Composition ManagementReroll core: From 3-1, hold 50 gold for interest, roll each turn until the 1-cost champions are 3-starred. Prioritize Cho'Gath, Lissandra, Teemo, then Mordekaiser and Xiaomuling. Illaoi and Kai'Sa can be 3-starred opportunistically, no rush. After 3-starring the 1-costs, level to 6, complete the lineup (add Illaoi, Kai'Sa, Rhaast), then hold interest to roll for Illaoi and Kai'Sa 3-star. In the late game at level 8, consider adding strong single units (e.g., Shen, Morgana), but this disrupts economy; generally end the game at level 7.AlternativesIf Kai'Sa is slow to appear, use 3-cost Karma (Dark Star + Wanderer) as a substitute carry; items are transferable. If Illaoi is hard to 3-star, use 2-cost Mordekaiser or 1-cost Nasus (Vanguard) as transition. For Shepherd, 4-cost Leblanc can replace Teemo, but this raises costs and is not recommended for a reroll comp. Rhaast is the only unit with his trait, so he cannot be replaced.
