Comp analysis
Core idea and suitable matchups.
The composition revolves around the Ranger and Sea Demon traits, leveraging the high burst of Rangers and the swarm spawns of Sea Demons to apply early-to-mid game pressure. Rhaast's Savior trait provides bonus stats to the team. In positioning, frontline tank Rek'Sai absorbs damage, carry Kai'Sa deals safe damage from the backline, while other Rangers and melee units are spread out to avoid AoE.

Game plan
Tempo, rolling, leveling and transition notes.
Equipment DistributionCore carry Kai'Sa: Blue Buff (fast mana regen), Jeweled Gauntlet (skill crits), Void Staff (magic resist shred). Main tank Rek'Sai: Warmog's Armor (massive HP), Bramble Vest (reflect + armor), Dragon's Claw (magic resist + sustain). No items on other champions; rely on trait and ability effects.Strengths1. Ranger (4) grants 40% AD and AP, paired with Ranger's survivability mechanic, making the damage environment safer. 2. Sea Demon (3) summons numerous swarm spawns, dealing extra damage and providing a free unit each round, giving a clear economic advantage. 3. Rhaast's Savior trait, once active, grants attack speed and both resists per non-unique trait, boosting overall tankiness and damage. 4. All low-cost units come online quickly, high early-to-mid game power, easy to win streak.Weaknesses1. Lacks a high-cost late-game carry, damage falls short against high-cost comps at 6/9 population levels. 2. Frontline tankiness relies on items; if Rek'Sai is not 3-star or lacks items, she gets melted. 3. Many Rangers and melee units; poor positioning can lead to getting wiped by AoE.Early Game TransitionStart with Recurve Bow or Needlessly Large Rod. Early prioritize Sea Demons (Briar, Rek'Sai, Bel'Veth) and Rangers (Briar, Talon), paired with Bruiser or Vanguard frontliners. Before Kai'Sa arrives, use other Rangers like Gwen temporarily. At 2-1, level to 4; at 3-2, level to 6. Slow roll on interest. Prioritize 3-star Kai'Sa and Rek'Sai.Mid-Game StrategyAfter reaching level 6 at 3-2, start rolling for 2-star Kai'Sa and key low-cost 3-stars (Rek'Sai, Briar, Talon). Once Kai'Sa is 3-star, level to 7 and add Rhaast and Gwen. After level 7, continue chasing 3-star Bel'Veth and Gwen. If HP is healthy, level to 8 and add strong standalone units like Shen or Ornn. Manage gold carefully, keep enough to roll.Alternatives1. The Ranger slot can be replaced by Riven (4-cost Ranger), but needs to adjust the comp to level 8 and raise overall quality accordingly. 2. Sea Demons cannot be increased; if Rhaast hasn't arrived, temporarily use other Bastion or Bruiser frontliners. 3. For items, Kai'Sa can also use Giant Slayer, Archangel's Staff, etc. as alternatives; Rek'Sai can swap for Steadfast Heart, Gargoyle Stoneplate.
